According to hospital sources, he died of interstitial lung disease. Tiger Played in 46 Test matches and scored 2793 runs. According to cricket experts, he is the best captain in Indian cricket history. Just like Sourav Ganguly and M.S. Dhoni, he changed the mindset of Indian cricketers.
