KG Gas basin in located near Kakinada town in Andhra Pradesh. Reliance Industries of Makesh Ambani found huge gas reserves in Krishna Godavari basin. As per family agreement, RIL needs to supply 28 mmscd gas from D6 block for 17 years to RNRL at 2.34 dollars per unit. But, Government thought that that price was too low. RIL decided to hike gas supply rate to $4.2 per unit. RNRL went to court citing that it is violation of agreeemnt and it will affect its business plans. Kasab found guilty

Mohammed Ajmal Amir Kasab found guilty of all 86 charges. Judge M.L. Tahaliyani (Trial court in Mumbai's Arthur Road jail) has delivered judgement on Kasab and two co-accused Indians (Fahim Ansari and Sabahuddin Ahmed). Ujjwal Nikam is special public prosecutor in this case. Accused Indians (Fahim and Sababuddin) are acquitted in this case. Ten Lashkar-e-Taiba trained terrorists attacked Mumbai on November 26, 2008 and killed 166 people (55 at CST). They also killed three top police officers (ATS chief Hemant Karkare, Vijay Salaskar and DIG Ashok Kamte) near CAMA hospital. 9 terrorists killed by police and commandos while Kasab was caught alive. Kasab was captured live during Mumbai attacks by ASI Tukaram Omble of D B Marg police station at Girgaon Chowpatty at around 12:30 AM on November 27. 48-year old Omble died in that incident but helped to capture a terrorist alive for the first time in indian history. Government awarded Ashoka Chakra (highest peacetime gallantry award) to Tukaram Omble for capturing Kasab.
