Harbhajan scored century against New Zealand

  Indian off-spinner scored a sensational century and took India to safe position in the first test match (Ahmedabad) against New Zealand. He scored his first century in test cricket in 165 balls under difficult circumstances. Harbhajan reached century by hitting six in the bowling of Danier Vettiri. V.V.S. Laxman once again saved India by scoring 91 runs by building 163-run partnership with Harbhajan Singh.  Due to their heroics, India now reached safe position. In the morning, India was in a precarious position as it lost 6 top order wickets for just 86 runs on Sunday in an insipid batting display.  India is now leading by 263 runs which is an impossible task for this New Zealand team to chase in the second innings.  Note: Harbhajan scored 69 runs in the first innings also. Sachin scored 14,000 runs in tests

  Indian star cricketer Sachin Tendulkar scored 14,000 runs in test cricket. Sachin scored 14,000th run against Australia in Bangalore test match. This is the 171st test match for this great batsman.  Sachin is the first batsman to score 14,000 runs in test cricket. He crossed 14,000 run mark by scoring a boundary in the Nathan Hauritz bowling.  Sachin Tendulkar is in terrific form in recent years.
